Pill Given During Birth?

A year, and a half ago I had my baby in Florida. All I can say is I'am glad to be gone from there. Anyway while I was there I went into labor on the day I was supposed to be induced. What a coincidence well they insisted on inducing me anyway since I was supposed to be induced. Did these doctors graduate from the Dummies For Doctors School? I was being induced on the due date at my choice not the doctors choice since the baby had a single umbilical artery. When I went into the hospital the pain was so bad, and the hospital was understaffed that I had to wait for an epidural because the doctor had another patient to attend to. I guess this is our future hospitals since nobody can seem to afford a college education anymore. So they offered me a pill to ease the pain I forgot the name of it but all it did was make me dizzy, and the pain remained. I would like to know the names of the pills they give you during labor? Well now that my son is a year, and a half he is progressing but slowly he stands up, and moves around but won't walk on his own. He is also rocking back, and forth constantly that he has to sleep in a playpen so his head does not get hurt against wood in a crib. My point with this is maybe he is different but my other two kids are not rockers. Could this also be a concern?
