A Rolex watch Oyster Perpetual Date with no date!!!?

I found this watch a while back, handed it in and nobody collected it. Its now mine but I'm sure its a fake anyway!!! It says Oyster Perpetual Date on it but it has no date!!! Any ideas anyone???
