In Final Fantasy 13, can I continue to play after killing the final boss in Eden?

I need to know as I have just teleported back to Gran Pulse just before the end but need the crystarium to level up again as I'm too weak, and wanted to know if I can play till the end and level up the crystarium and resume play?
