Why was the idea of god(s) even conceived?
is it because the average human doesn't have the intellectual capacity to control their own life? or is it possibly because someone realized that they could control society through an outside source, leaving it harder to deny as an entity? or could it be that delusion and grandeur prompted someone to believe that life couldn't just be "one life" so they choose to believe that heir was a supernatural being that controlled fate and led an afterlife, therefore convincing themselves in an afterlife despite mounds of evidence on the contrary? this whole god(s) thing sounds very unreal and poorly planned to me. my questions stands. what is the purpose of god(s) with such a heap of actual real world evidence to prove the theory faulty.
