You should wait at least 7 days to have unprotected , but I would give it one more extra week just to be really safe. I do know that antibiotics can cause the pill to not work as well. you can read the information that came with your birth control to see what other medications or other things if any, can affect the pill. The pill is around 90-99 percent effective only if taken properly.
