Why is the Guatemalan population all Indian?

It's not; "Indians" are from India and there are probably no more than a handful of Indians in Guatemala. There are, however, many people of *indigenous* origin. That is the case of a number of Latin American countries - {eru, Boliva and Ecuador in particular, and far less so in Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
